SSR4 sustains Tertiary Lymphoid Structures by Regulation Quality Control of N‐linked Glycosylation During B‐cell Differentiation Into Plasmacyte in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SSR4, a TRAP component induced in B cells, governs BAFFR N‐glycosylation via DDOST to sustain NF‐κB signaling, B‐cell differentiation, and TLS maturation. Its loss impairs anti‐tumor immunity, while overexpression improves antibody glycosylation and ADCC, revealing a critical regulator for cancer immunotherapy.

Glycopeptide Antibiotic Resistance Genes in Glycopeptide-Producing Organisms [PDF]

open access: yesAntimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy, 1998
ABSTRACT The mechanism of high-level resistance to vancomycin in enterococci consists of the synthesis of peptidoglycan terminating in d -alanyl- d -lactate instead of the usual d -alanyl- d -alanine.

Selective Enrichment of Glycopeptides Using Aluminum Oxide

open access: yes, 2013
Protein glycosylation is significantly associated with cells cycle, immune regulation, cells recognition and cells adhesion. Aberrant glycosylation expression is involved in many diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, cancer, and chronic obstructive ...

Click maltose as an alternative to reverse phase material for desalting glycopeptides

open access: yes, 2011
Click maltose as an alternative to reverse phase material for desalting glycopeptidesDesalting peptides before mass spectrometry analysis is important because salts lead to adduct formation, increased chemical noise and ion suppression effect.

Late‐Stage Functionalization of Peptides on the Solid Phase

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Peptide modifications are essential to control pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic properties of peptide drugs. Consequently, strategies that allow for efficient and rapid incorporation of non‐canonical modifications into peptides in parallel formats are highly sought after.

Resistance to Glycopeptides in Enterococci [PDF]

open access: yesClinical Infectious Diseases, 1997
The development of resistance to glycopeptides (vancomycin and teicoplanin) is one of the best examples of the alternation between success and failure that spans the history of the antibiotic era. The introduction of penicillin G was revolutionary. However, the emergence in the 1950s of clinical isolates of Staphylococcus aureus that were resistant to ...

Systematic review and scoring‐based selection of pharmacokinetic models for precision dosing of vancomycin in neonates and children

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
This systematic review identified 112 population pharmacokinetic models of vancomycin in neonates and children. To support rational model selection for model‐informed precision, we developed and applied expert‐driven, transparent criteria that integrate both methodological rigour and clinical relevance.

Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Well‐Defined M6P(n)‐Modified Glycopeptides for Targeted Protein Degradation

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
A synthetic methodology has been developed to prepare multifunctional M6P and M6Pn ligands of different valency. The glycopeptides were conjugated to cetuximab and then examined to mediate cellular uptake of fluorescently labeled EGFRvIII. Only cetuximab modified by glycopeptides having 3 or 6 M6P or M6Pn residues demonstrated greater uptake.

Enterococcus faecalis an Emerging Microbial Menace in Dentistry-An Insight into the In-Silico Detection of Drug Resistant Genes and Its Protein Diversity [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, 2018
Introduction: Antimicrobial drug resistance is evolving as a serious threat to mankind due to indiscriminate use of antibiotics and lack of awareness about the mechanisms involved in drug resistance.
