HUCMSC‐Apo‐mvs enhance peripheral nerve repair by modulating the inflammatory microenvironment (IME), primarily through coordinated actions on three functional cells. They recruit macrophages and promote their polarization from pro‐inflammatory M1 to anti‐inflammatory M2 phenotypes, increasing secretion of IL‐10 and VEGF.

Cytokines in Clinical and Experimental Transplantation
Allograft rejection is a complex process, which requires interactions between different cell types and a variety of soluble factors, such as cytokines. In this review we discuss the role of cytokines in the induction and effector phases of the rejection ...

Transcriptional Perturbations in Graft Rejection [PDF]
Understanding the regulatory interplay of relevant microRNAs (miRNAs) and messenger RNAs (mRNAs) in the rejecting allograft will result in a better understanding of the molecular pathophysiology of alloimmune injury. One hundred sixty-seven allograft biopsies, with (n = 47) and without (n = 120) central histology for Banff scored acute rejection (AR ...

Porous 3D‐printed titanium implants are made bioactive by integration with a supramolecular peptide‐hyaluronic acid nanofibrillar scaffold, without the addition of exogenous cells or growth factors. Uniform filling of the implant architecture promotes vascularized, spatially homogeneous bone regeneration, significantly enhancing osteogenesis throughout

This review explores how alternative invertebrate and small‐vertebrate models advance the evaluation of nanomaterials across medicine and environmental science. By bridging cellular and organismal levels, these models enable integrated assessment of toxicity, biodistribution, and therapeutic performance.
