Georgi-Glashow SU(5) - basis for proton decay and neutrino mass problem from SM to GUT

open access: yesJournal of Sustainable Technologies and Materials
In this article we present the original Georgi-Glashow  model with gauge and fermion sector derivation in order to show grand unified theory (GUT) through this model, but also to correlate  and Standard Model (SM).

750 GeV diphotons from a D3-brane

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2016
Motivated by the recently reported diphoton excess at 750 GeV observed by both CMS and ATLAS, we study string-based particle physics models which can accommodate this signal.

Grand unified mass

open access: yes, 1981
A recent article on the unified theory of Elementary Particle Forces by Howard Georgi and Sheldon Glashow (September 1980, page 30) points out that the unification of strong, weak and electromagnetic interactions involves the appearance of particles ...

Grand unified theories without the desert

open access: yes, 2021
We present a grand unified theory (GUT) that has GUT fields with masses of the order of a TeV, but at the same time preserves (at the one-loop level) the success of gauge-coupling unification of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) and the ...

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

High Scale Type-II Seesaw, Dominant Double Beta Decay within Cosmological Bound and LFV Decays in SU(‎5)

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2019
Very recently novel implementation of type-II seesaw mechanism for neutrino mass has been proposed in SU(5) grand unified theory with a number of desirable new physical phenomena beyond the standard model.

Grand Unified TheorieS

open access: yes, 2019
The author Wan-Chung Hu(born1973) is a MD (National Taiwan University) and PhD (Johns Hopkins University). This book contains theories in physics, chemistry, biology, geosciences, and mathematics. Spinity is a force to drag spacetime to rotate around central mass.

Higgs effect in SU(15) grand unified theory

open access: yes, 1992
We analyze proton decay and the choice of Higgs fields in grand unified theories where the baryon number is a gauge symmetry [e.g., SU(15)]. Although Higgs effects forbid low-energy unification in the SU(15) model (within the extended survival hypothesis)
