Here, we applied a model of long-term exposure of human granulosa cells to low environmentally relevant levels of di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). This approach provides more relevant data regarding the impact of DEHP on the function of human granulosa

Extraovarian granulosa cell tumor
Extraovarian granulosa cell tumor (GCT) is a very uncommon tumor, assumed to arise from the ectopic gonadal tissue along the embryonal route of the genital ridge. One such rare case of extraovarian GCT was encountered in a 58-year-old female who presented with a large intraabdominal lump.

Oocyte–cumulus cell interaction: a key factor in early embryo development
ABSTRACT The evaluation of oocyte competence is a fundamental step in achieving successful outcomes following assisted reproduction techniques (ART). At present, however, conventional oocyte maturation assessment is carried out by morphological observation, which is a subjective method that does not consider molecular features.

Oogenesis and germinal bed morphology of the brown anole (A. sagrei)
Abstract Background The brown anole is a model species of the genus Anolis, a squamate (encompassing lizards and snakes) group widely studied in evolutionary, behavioral, and developmental biology. Full genome annotation, the establishment of gene editing techniques, and comprehensive description of reproductive tract morphology and embryogenesis in ...

Abstract Objective In the present study, a bidirectional two‐sample Mendelian randomization approach was utilized to explore potential causal relationships between mitochondrial DNA copy number (mtDNA‐CN) and ovary‐related reproductive disorders (ORRDs), including ovarian dysfunction, ovarian cyst, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), premature ovarian ...

Uncoupling of mature oocytes from somatic granulosa cells is required for their fertilization. Here the authors show that activation of EGFR signalling in granulosa cells during ovulation triggers ERK-dependent loss of filopodia oocyte adhesion, and Arp2/
