The Hoechst Dye‐Binding RNA Aptamer Recognizes Its Ligand in a Highly Dynamic Fashion
ChemBioChem, Volume 27, Issue 11, 15 June 2026.The Hoechst–RNA aptamer binds a tert‐butyl containing derivative of the Hoechst dye. The study presented here shows that the interactions between the RNA and ligand are highly dynamic with the ligand occupying two overlapping binding sites. The interactions are explored using NMR spectroscopy and time‐resolved fluorescence.
