Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and plasma cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) were analyzed to detect ESR1 mutations and methylation in patients with advanced breast cancer. CTC‐derived DNA showed higher sensitivity for mutation detection and revealed complementary genetic and epigenetic alterations, highlighting the added value of CTC analysis for understanding ...

A. Connection (or parallel transport) is the main object in the geometry of manifolds. Indeed, connections allow comparison between geometric quantities associated with different (distant) points of the manifold.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

THEORY OF VALUATIONS ON MANIFOLDS, III. MULTIPLICATIVE STRUCTURE IN THE GENERAL CASE [PDF]
This is the third part of a series of articles where the theory of valuations on manifolds is constructed. In the second part of this series the notion of a smooth valuation on a manifold was introduced.

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

The minimal entropy problem for 3-manifolds with zero simplicial volume [PDF]
In this note, we consider the minimal entropy problem, namely the question of whether there exists a smooth metric of minimal (topological) entropy, for certain classes of closed 3 ...

Group manifolds and homogeneous spaces with HKT geometry: The role of automorphisms
We present a new simple proof of the fact that certain group manifolds as well as certain homogeneous spaces G/H of dimension 4n admit a triple of integrable complex structures that satisfy the quaternionic algebra and are covariantly constant with ...

Hecke algebras, modular categories and 3-manifolds quantum invariants [PDF]
We construct modular categories from Hecke algebras at roots of unity. For a special choice of the framing parameter, we recover the Reshetikhin–Turaev invariants of closed 3-manifolds constructed from the quantum groups Uqsl(N) by Reshetikhin–Turaev and

Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

Forward and inverse scattering on manifolds with asymptotically cylindrical ends [PDF]
We study an inverse problem for a non-compact Riemannian manifold whose ends have the following properties: On each end, the Riemannian metric is assumed to be a short-range perturbation of the metric of the form ( d y ) 2 + h ( x , d x ) , h ( x , d x )
