Substrate-dependent differences in ferroelectric behavior and phase diagram of Si-doped hafnium oxide

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research, 2021
Non-volatile memories based on ferroelectric hafnium oxide, especially the ferroelectric field-effect transistor (FeFET), have outstanding properties, e.g. for the application in neuromorphic circuits.

Ferroelectricity and Oxide Reliability of Stacked Hafnium–Zirconium Oxide Devices

open access: yesMaterials, 2023
In this work, we investigate the ferroelectricity of stacked zirconium oxide and hafnium oxide (stacked HfZrO) with different thickness ratios under metal gate stress and simultaneously evaluate the electrical reliability of stacked ferroelectric films.

Impact of the SiO2 interface layer on the crystallographic texture of ferroelectric hafnium oxide

open access: yes, 2021
Applying transmission Kikuchi diffraction (TKD) allows us to fundamentally investigate the Si-doped-hafnium-oxide (HSO) microstructure that results from the interface layer present in ferroelectric field-effect transistors. In addition to the predominant

Effects of Substrate and Annealing Conditions on the Ferroelectric Properties of Non-Doped HfO2 Deposited by RF Plasma Sputter

open access: yesNanomaterials
In this study, the effect of annealing and substrate conditions on the ferroelectricity of undoped hafnium oxide (HfO2) was analyzed. Hafnium oxide was deposited on various substrates such as platinum, titanium nitride, and silicon (Pt, TiN, Si) through ...

High-temperature oxidation and erosion-resistant refractory coatings [PDF]

open access: yes, 1970
Various refractory coating systems were evaluated for rocket nozzle applications by actual rocket test firings. A reference is noted which identifies failure mechanisms and gives results of the firing tests for 18 coating systems.

Patient‐specific pharmacogenomics demonstrates xCT as predictive therapeutic target in colon cancer with possible implications in tumor connectivity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study integrates transcriptomic profiling of matched tumor and healthy tissues from 32 colorectal cancer patients with functional validation in patient‐derived organoids, revealing dysregulated metabolic programs driven by overexpressed xCT (SLC7A11) and SLC3A2, identifying an oncogenic cystine/glutamate transporter signature linked to ...

ZIRCONIUM AND HAFNIUM DIOXIDES DOPED BY OXIDES OF YTTRIUM, SCANDIUM AND ERBIUM: NEW METHODS OF SYNTHESIS AND PROPERTIES

open access: yesТонкие химические технологии, 2018
The results of elaborating a method for the synthesis of zirconia and hafnia doped by rare earths (yttrium, erbium and scandium) by using low-hydrated hydroxides of zirconium and hafnium as precursors are reported.

Features of medical implant passivation using anodic oxide films [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The passivation ability of metals from groups IV and V of the Periodic Table is considered. Anodic treatment is able to neutralize the increase of metal hardening when comminuting grains to nanometre sizes.
