Abstract Previous in vitro studies have indicated that oxidized phytosterol (OPS) exhibits some toxicity; however, the harmful effects of OPS on fatty acid metabolism are not completely understood yet. Therefore, this study examined the effects of exogenous phytosterol (PS) and OPS on growth parameters and lipid metabolism in rats.

A combined systems model (4GI‐HbA1c) was developed to predict glucose and HbA1c responses to GLP‐1 and GLP‐1/glucagon receptor agonists using early pharmacokinetic and in vitro efficacy data. Validated with short‐term CGM data, the model accurately predicted 26‐week clinical outcomes for liraglutide and cotadutide, demonstrating its value in supporting

Insights Into Effects of Natural Bioactive Components on Inflammatory Diseases in Respiratory Tract
ABSTRACT The increasing prevalence of inflammatory diseases in the respiratory tract worldwide has raised concerns, and due to its high prevalence and poor prognosis, it remains a clinical focus and research hotspot. These inflammatory diseases include airway inflammation, asthma, bacterial antigens‐induced tonsil epithelial inflammation, chronic ...

The Internal Nanostructure of Lipid Nanoparticles Influences Their Diverse Cellular Uptake Pathways
Lipid nanoparticles are vital for drug delivery, but their cellular interactions remain unclear. This study shows that non‐lamellar lyotropic liquid crystalline nanoparticles (LLCNPs) ‐ including cubosomes, hexosomes, and micellar cubosomes ‐ preferentially use passive pathways like membrane fusion, bypassing endocytic recycling faced by lamellar ...
