Journal of Comparative Pathology, 1980Abstract Pregnant hamsters were given 4 or 6 mg per kg crystalline aflatoxin B 1 by i.p. injection on days 8 and 9 of pregnancy. Foetuses were examined for gross and/or histological lesions on days 11 and 15. Aflatoxin, at both doses, caused primarily foetal growth retardation.
