Abstract Emotion contagion within parent–adolescent dyads represents a fundamental mechanism through which daily family interactions shape adolescent emotional well‐being. Yet little is known about how adolescent suicidal ideation reorganizes daily patterns of emotional transmission between parents and adolescents.
