This study employs cryogenic magneto‐terahertz nanoscopy to reveal the real‐space electrodynamics of the colossal magnetoresistance transition. By capturing the terahertz electrodynamic evolution of field‐driven spin switching, the work unveils the dissipative dynamics of emergent metallic states, providing a high‐frequency view of coupled spin‐charge ...

Tellurene has a wide bandwidth and low propagation loss at near-infrared wavelengths due to its nonlinear absorption coefficient. Therefore, we prepared tellurene–polyvinyl alcohol (Te-PVA) film as a saturable absorber in an Er-doped fiber laser by ...

NiNb alloys enable efficient charge‐to‐spin conversion by combining the spin Hall effect of nickel with the orbital Hall effect of niobium. Composition tuning yields spin‐torque efficiencies of −1.4 to −1.7 and a non‐monotonic efficiency‐resistivity relationship, revealing orbital‐spin synergy beyond conventional spin Hall materials and offering a ...

The dynamics of dissipative solitons (DSs) are explored in a high-repetition-rate normal-dispersion erbium-doped fiber laser for the first time. Despite the high fundamental repetition rate of 129 MHz and, thus, the low pulse energy, a DS train with a ...

Harmonic mode-locking in monolithic semiconductor lasers: Theory, simulations and experiment [PDF]
We study both theoretically and experimentally typical operation regimes of 40 GHz monolithic mode-locked lasers. The underlying Traveling Wave Equation model reveals quantitative agreement for characteristics of the fundamental mode-locking as pulse ...

An “Interface Reactor” strategy boosts simulation stability by 2–3 orders of magnitude, enabling stable 100 ns molecular dynamics of electrode‐electrolyte interfaces. Distinct SEI formation mechanisms are revealed: mixed co‐formation in carbonates versus surface‐energy‐controlled NaF crystallization in ethers. Metadynamics simulations further elucidate

Probing Type‐II Multiferroicity in Monolayer NiBr2
Type‐II multiferroicity is demonstrated in monolayer NiBr2. Scanning tunneling microscopy resolves ferroelectric polarization arising from non‐collinear magnetic order, and reciprocal control with electric and magnetic fields confirms intrinsic magnetoelectric coupling.

Femtosecond dissipative quadratic soliton mode-locking of cavity-enhanced second-harmonic generation
Nonlinear frequency conversion underpins numerous classical and quantum photonics applications but conventionally relies on synchronized femtosecond mode-locked lasers and dispersion-engineered enhancement cavities—an approach that imposes substantial ...

Stabilization of a Harmonic Mode-Locking by Shifting the Carrier Frequency
<p>Harmonically mode-locked soliton fiber lasers have been intensively investigated in recent years due to their wide range of applications. Drawback of these lasers is relatively large timing jitter which is significantly higher than the timing ...
