Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Exploring the limits of crop productivity: A model to evaluate progress [PDF]
The goal was to determine the limits of crop productivity when all environmental constraints were removed. Researchers define productivity as food output per unit of input.

A catch-free stock assessment model with application to goliath grouper (Epinephelus itajara) off southern Florida [PDF]
Many modern stock assessment methods provide the machinery for determining the status of a stock in relation to certain reference points and for estimating how quickly a stock can be rebuilt. However, these methods typically require catch data, which are

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Physio-morphological appraisal of aromatic fine rice (Oryza sativa L.) in relation to yield potential [PDF]
A field experiment was conducted to determine the physio-morphological attributes in relation to yield potential of modern and aromatic rice varieties. The experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with five replications.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Agronomic changes of soybean cultivars released during 1950 to 2006 in Heilongjiang Province
To clarify the aim characteristics for soybean high-yield breeding, soybean cultivars released during 1950 to 2006 in Heilongjiang Province were used to investigate agronomic characteristics.

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Effect of nitrogen on safflower physiology and productivity [PDF]
Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) is an oil-crop suitable for semi-arid agriculture, but its physiological response to agronomic inputs has yet to be fully evaluated.

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...
