Prevalence of HBV DNA in anti-HBe+ chronic HBV carriers in Babol, 2002
Background and Objective: One of the most important mutations, which occur in hepatitis B virus, is precore mutant. This mutation is associated with highly productive infection in anti-HBe+ chronic HBV carriers. These chronic HBV carriers are predisposed

Bulevirtide increases bile acid levels in most patients; however, changes in bile acids do not predict virological response or adverse events, nor do they reflect treatment adherence. After discontinuation of bulevirtide, bile acid levels rapidly decline.

Evaluation of a new random-access HBV DNA molecular assay: The VERIS HBV assay.
International audienceDetection and quantification of HBV DNA are essential to diagnose chronic HBV infection, monitor the virological response to treatment and the possible selection of resistant viruses in order to tailor therapy.

Behind the scenes: how the EMILIN/Multimerin family shapes the cancer landscape
The EMILIN/Multimerin family members regulate key hallmarks of cancer—including apoptosis, angiogenesis, metastasis, and tumor microenvironment remodeling. As indicated, their function in immune evasion, drug resistance, and metabolic reprogramming remains largely unexplored.

Genotypes of Hepatitis B and D Viruses Among Patients With Hepatitis D in the United States
ABSTRACT The epidemiological landscape of paired hepatitis B virus (HBV)/hepatitis delta virus (HDV) genotype (GT) among patients with HDV in the US remains unknown. HBV/HDV genotypes were assessed in two independent US cohorts: Cohort 1 included 5222 HBV‐positive patients from Quest Diagnostics, including 114 anti‐HDV+ patients; Cohort 2 included 178 ...
