[Establishment of hepatic stem cell line stably expressing HBx protein and the effect of HBx on cell proliferation].

Xi bao yu fen zi mian yi xue za zhi = Chinese journal of cellular and molecular immunology, 2013
To establish HP14.5 cell line stably expressing hepatitis B virus X (HBx) and detect the effect of HBx on cell proliferation, cell cycle and the wnt/β-catenin signal pathway of hepatic progenitor cells. The plasmid of pSEB-Flag-HBx and the packaging plasmid pAmpho were co-transfected into HEK 293T cells to construct the recombinant retrovirus carrying ...

An efficient rapid system for assaying HBx-mediated transactivation

Biotechnology Letters, 2017
To develop a rapid and accurate assay system for screening inhibitors or enhancing agents targeting the transactivation capability of hepatitis B virus X protein (HBx) that activates cellular promoters in host cells to facilitate viral replication. We constructed a new GFP-based reporter system which was different from a luciferase-based reporter system.

Reconstruction and expression of chimeric anti-HBx antibody in Escherichia coli

Journal of Cancer Research and Clinical Oncology, 1997
The variable regions of murine monoclonal anti-HBx immunoglobulin and the constant region of human antibody were cloned by reverse transcript-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). The heavy-chain and light-chain variable regions were connected and coexpressed with human constant region C-r3 and C-k3 in the reconstructed vector of E. coli.

[The HBx protein expression in liver cancer].

Zhonghua bing li xue za zhi = Chinese journal of pathology, 1991
The expression of HBx protein in liver tissues from 48 cases of different liver diseases, including 32 cases of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), 10 of chronic hepatitis (CH), 2 of angioma and 4 cases of normal liver was studied. These samples were tested for HBx protein, HBsAg by modified ABC method.

[Role of HBx in hepatocellular carcinoma development].

Zhejiang da xue xue bao. Yi xue ban = Journal of Zhejiang University. Medical sciences, 2011
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common malignant tumors in China, which is mainly caused by hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. The X gene product (HBx) of HBV has extensive trans-activating functions. HBx affects the signal transduction, apoptotic cell death and cell cycle through interaction with variety intracellular proteins in ...
