ABSTRACT Objective Encephalitozoon pogonae, a recently identified microsporidian species, has been associated with systemic infections in Central bearded dragons (Pogona vitticeps) manifesting as granulomatous inflammation and vasculitis. Despite the species similarity to Encephalitozoon cuniculi, which causes ocular, neurologic, and renal pathology in

Rhein treatment inhibits NLRP3 inflammasome activation, suppresses Caspase‐1/GSDMD‐mediated pyroptosis, reduces pro‐inflammatory cytokine release, promotes M2 polarization, and improves behavioral outcomes of ICH. These findings suggest that rhein protects against ICH‐induced brain injury through the inhibition of NLRP3‐dependent pyroptosis ...

EFFICACY OF A NEW ISOLATE RABBIT HEMORRHAGIC DISEASE VIRUS VACCINE
The present study was carried out to prepare and evaluate an inactivated vaccine from new isolate rabbit hemorrhagic disease (RHD) virus that causes outbreaks in rabbit flocks vaccinated with commercially available vaccines. Sixty, 3 months old New Zealand rabbits were allotted into four groups (A, B, C, D).

Both active and passive questing ticks, Hyalomma excavatum and Ixodes ricinus, were assessed for behavioural responses to two novel plant‐derived repellent volatile organic compound blends. Both tick species were repelled by the products, and both novo blends were significantly more repellent than currently available commercial products.

Partial chemical reprogramming significantly increases mitochondrial interaction networks, affects mitochondrial morphology, speeds up mitochondrial movement dynamics, increases mitochondrial transmembrane potential, and induces TCA cycle stress. These changes in mitochondrial function contribute to lipid droplet accumulation, acute kidney injury, and ...
