Doxycycline and Hepatotoxicity

If microvesicular steatosis due to a high dose of tetracycline has virtually disappeared, it can also be observed with other drugs belonging to the tetracycline family. To our knowledge, hepatotoxicity induced by doxycycline has never been reported.
