Enhancing Reservoir Simulation History Matching Using SHAP Value for Parameter Range Selection

open access: yesEnergies
Accurate reservoir history matching is indispensable for reliable subsurface forecasting and optimal field development; however, it remains a formidable challenge due to the high dimensionality of geological parameter spaces, strong nonlinear dynamics ...

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

History matching in reservoir simulation

open access: yes, 2018
History matching is a widely used reservoir simulation workflow. Its goal is to create models which reasonably match historical field injection and production data so future predictions can be made.

Application of Evolutionary Algorithm for Assisted History Matching [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
History matching is a fundamental technique in reservoir engineering principle. Successful reservoir interpretation mostly depends on the precision of the history matching.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Computer assisted history matching : A comprehensive study of methodology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
History matching is an important step in reservoir simulation study. The objective is to validate a reservoir model before it is used for prediction.

IMPROVED APPLICATION OF ASSISTED HISTORY MATCHING TECHNIQUES

open access: yes, 2013
In assisted history matching the calibration of a reservoir model is approached as an optimization process, i.e. defining a cost function representative of the discrepancy between measured (real) and simulated data, and in minimizing the cost function ...

Liquid biopsy‐based diagnostic evaluation of hypermethylated CpG sites for ovarian cancer diagnosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This schematic outlines the workflow from biomarker identification to duplex MethyLight assay validation for epithelial ovarian cancer diagnosis using cfDNA‐based liquid biopsy. Initial screening of hypermethylated CpG candidates (cg02957270, cg10061138 cg00480298, COL2A1) was performed in tissue using ARMS‐PCR, COBRA, qPCR and image analysis. Selected

Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.
