HLA‐DR antigen detection in giant cell lesions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Oral Pathology & Medicine, 1986
Sixty‐six giant cell lesions ranging from inflammatory to neoplastic were evaluated for HLA‐DR antigens using formalin/paraffin tissue and a monoclonal antibody labelled by the avidin‐biotin peroxidase. HLA‐DR antigens were expressed in nearly all lesions, predominantly on round, macrophage‐like cells.

Genetic and serological heterogeneity of the supertypic HLA-B locus specificities Bw4 and Bw6 [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
Gene cloning and sequencing of the HLA-B locus split antigens B38 (B16.1) and B39 (B16.2) allowed localization of their subtypic as well as their public specificities HLA-Bw4 or -Bw6 to the c~-helical region of the c~ 1 domain flanked by the amino acid ...

Human herpesvirus-6 and cytomegalovirus DNA in liver donor biopsies and their correlation with HLA matches and acute cellular rejection

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Infectious Diseases, 2014
Herpesvirus reactivation is common after liver transplantation. Objective: Analyze the presence of cytomegalovirus (HCMV) and human herpesvirus-6 (HHV-6) DNA in liver donor biopsies, seeking to better understand issues involving human donor leukocyte ...

Allelic variation in HLA-B and HLA-C sequences and the evolution of the HLA-B alleles [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
Several new HLA-B (B8, B51, Bw62)- and HLA-C (Cw6, Cw7)-specific genes were isolated either as genomic cosmid or cDNA clones to study the diversity of HLA antigens.

ASSOCIATION OF HLA AND CYTOKINES OF BLOOD WITH ANTIINFLAMMATORY EFFECTS IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC GLOMERULONEPHRITIS

open access: yesУкраїнський Журнал Нефрології та Діалізу, 2017
Cytokines and HLA take important part in immunogenesis of many diseases, therefore the analysis of these indices and this associations in dependence of glomerulonephritis (GN) can define their value as the additional prognostic markers.

PASD1: a promising target for the immunotherapy of haematological malignancies [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In general, there is a lack of good immunotherapy targets within the spectrum of haematological malignancies. However haematopoietic stem cell transplants and continuing antigen discovery have allowed further insight into how further improvements in ...

Peculiarities of HLA-phenotypes in patients with pyelonephritis

open access: yesAnnals of Mechnikov's Institute, 2020
Introduction. Of great interest are the studies on the role of human leucocyte antigens (HLA) in pathogenesis of a disease. The kidneys is vulnerable to injury in the context of inflammatory responses, with the potential involvement of a number of ...

Evidence for Highly Variable, Region-Specific Patterns of T-Cell Epitope Mutations Accumulating in Mycobacterium tuberculosis Strains

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2019
Vaccines that confer protection through induction of adaptive T-cell immunity rely on understanding T-cell epitope (TCE) evolution induced by immune escape.

Immunoinformatic Analysis of Human Thyroglobulin

open access: yesCybernetics and Information Technologies, 2020
The AutoImmune ThyroiDitis (AITD), known as Hashimoto’s disease, is a chronic autoimmune thyroid disease progressively developed to hypothyroidism. The AITD is characterized by the formation of autoantibodies targeting two specific thyroid antigens ...
