Harnessing Ultrafast Optical Pulses for 3D Microfabrication by Selective Tweezing and Immobilization of Colloidal Particles in an Integrated System

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 6, Issue 5, May 2025.
Microfabrication using nano‐ to micron‐sized blocks has transformative potential for next‐gen electronics, optoelectronics, and materials. Traditional methods are limited by scalability and precision. STIC, a single‐laser system for precise colloid manipulation and immobilization using femtosecond lasers, is introduced that enables efficient 3D ...

The parameters effect on the holographic optical elements

open access: yesمجلة بغداد للعلوم, 2011
In this work we fabrication holographic optical element diffraction grating thickness 40?m and mirror90?m by using dichromated gelatin,to perform that we have to use the Nd-yaG laser doubling frequency of wavelenght (532)nm and its powers of (80)mWatt ...

Orbital angular momentum 25 years on [invited] [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Twenty-five years ago Allen, Beijersbergen, Spreeuw, and Woerdman published their seminal paper establishing that light beams with helical phase-fronts carried an orbital angular momentum. Previously orbital angular momentum had been associated only with

Multipolar Resonances in Electro‐Optic Metasurfaces with Moderate Refractive Index

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
Electro‐optic nanoantennas with moderate refractive indices of 2.3 to 3.0 are numerically shown to sustain strong multipolar resonances, enabling efficient light confinement and EO tuning. Multipolar modes of even parity are most sensitive to variations in the refractive index.

Holographic Micromirror Array with Diffuse Areas for Accurate Calibration of 3D Light-Field Display

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Light field 3D displays require a precise alignment between the display source and the micromirror-array screen for error free 3D visualization. Hence, calibrating the system using an external camera becomes necessary, before displaying any 3D contents ...

Real‐Time In Vivo Cellular‐Level Imaging During Puncture

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present an artificial‐intelligence‐empowered integrative‐light‐field microendoscopy (AIM) needle that delivers real‐time in vivo, diffraction‐limited cellular‐level imaging during puncture and visualizes layered microstructures along the needle path. As a microscopic complement to CT/ultrasound, it improves sampling localization and adds preliminary

Osmotic Tension Asymmetry Drives Electrotactic Migration via PDLIM7‐Polarized Microfilament Coordination in Breast Cancer Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study establishes an electric field‐induced directional migration model using fluorescence tension probes to visualize microfilament forces and intracellular osmotic pressure dynamics in the electrotactic migration of breast cancer cells. This model delineates how electromechanical interactions among membrane potential, ion channels, OP, traction ...

Curved Holographic Augmented Reality Near-Eye Display System Based on Freeform Holographic Optical Element with Extended Field of View

open access: yesPhotonics
At present, most near-eye display devices adopt flat substrates, which have problems such as limited field of view (FOV) and bulky shape, while the curved structure is expected to expand the FOV with appropriate volume. In this paper, we propose a curved
