Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

The Magnus representation and homology cobordism groups of homology cylinders
A homology cylinder over a compact manifold is a homology cobordism between two copies of the manifold together with a boundary parametrization. We study abelian quotients of the homology cobordism group of homology cylinders. For homology cylinders over

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Existence of acyclic matching and Morse complex on transitive digraphs
For any digraph, there exists a transitive closure. The transitive digraph is a discrete geometric object which has a close relationship with simplicial complex.

Persistent Homology applied to location problems
Different approaches to solve location problems in transport and logistics have been developed in the literature. This article introduces a new approach using the concept of persistent homology which has been proved to be an efficient method in ...

Enzymes of the 2‐hydroxyacyl‐CoA lyase group catalyze the condensation of formyl‐CoA with aldehydes or ketones. Thus, by structural adaptation of active sites, practically any pharmaceutically and industrially important 2‐hydroxyacid could be biotechnologically synthesized. Combining crystal structure analysis, active site mutations and kinetic assays,

Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

The triviality of dihedral cohomology for operator algebras
This article delves into algebraic topology, specifically (co)homology theory, which is essential in various mathematical fields. It explores different types of (co)homology groups such as Hochschild, cyclic, reflexive, and dihedral, focusing on dihedral

ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

The homotopy groups $\pi_k(\Omega_n(m))$, $k=1,...,n$
The paper continues the investigation of the spaces of complex-valued perfect splines $\Omega_n(m)$. These spaces were introduced as generalization of the spaces $\Omega_n$, the topology of which has been studied by V.I. Ruban, V.A. Koshcheev, A.M. Pasko.
