Matplotlib with HSF Training

open access: yes, 2022
Based on the Matplotlib for HEP workshop developed by HSF Training, we will present a short introduction to matplotlib and perform an HEP analysis using ATLAS and CMS open data in order to get publishable plots. We will also use mplhep, a matplotlib wrapper for easy plotting required in HEP.

Genome duplication and gene loss affect the evolution of heat shock transcription factor genes in legumes. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2014
Whole-genome duplication events (polyploidy events) and gene loss events have played important roles in the evolution of legumes. Here we show that the vast majority of Hsf gene duplications resulted from whole genome duplication events rather than ...

Hyperglycaemia and oxidative stress upregulate HSP60 & HSP70 expression in HeLa cells [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Heat Shock Proteins 60 & 70 (HSP60 & HSP70) are intracellular protein that has been shown to be present at elevated levels in systemic circulation in Type 2 Diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients.

Targeting neutrophil extracellular traps in metabolic and immune niche: Nanomaterials for diabetes tissue regeneration

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
The effects of NETs on regeneration of various diabetic tissues, and strategies targeting NETs for diabetes tissue regeneration. In the diabetic environment, NETs undergo complex metabolic and immune reprogramming, leading to dynamic changes in antibacterial and proinflammatory functions, and affecting regeneration of multiple systemic tissues.

New Insights into Evolution of Plant Heat Shock Factors (Hsfs) and Expression Analysis of Tea Genes in Response to Abiotic Stresses

open access: yesPlants, 2020
Heat shock transcription factor (Hsf) is one of key regulators in plant abotic stress response. Although the Hsf gene family has been identified from several plant species, original and evolution relationship have been fragmented.

Displacement of Histones at Promoters of \u3ci\u3eSaccharomyces cerevisiae\u3c/i\u3e Heat Shock Genes Is Differentially Associated with Histone H3 Acetylation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Chromatin remodeling at promoters of activated genes spans from mild histone modifications to outright displacement of nucleosomes in trans. Factors affecting these events are not always clear.
