Evaluation of Odor and Physicochemical Properties in Sheep Placenta Processed With Different Drying Methods

This study evaluated the effects of hot air drying, baking, and vacuum freeze drying on the quality of sheep placenta. Results showed that vacuum freeze drying better preserved the product's color, microstructure, and essential amino acid content while significantly reducing fishy odor.

A Case of Aseptic Meningitis Presenting With Widespread Non‐Dermatomal Neuropathic Pain

ABSTRACT Aseptic meningitis occasionally causes neuropathic pain in a dermatomal distribution, but widespread non‐dermatomal pain is extremely rare. We report a case of a 62‐year‐old man with ulcerative colitis who developed neuropathic pain involving the head, trunk, and limbs.

We report a 30‐year‐old man with active atopic dermatitis who developed extensive, sexually transmitted mpox with widespread cutaneous involvement consistent with eczema monkeypoxicum.
