Effect of Corilagin on anti-inflammation in HSV-1 encephalitis and HSV-1 infected microglias

European Journal of Pharmacology, 2010
The aim of this explore is to study the anti-inflammatory effect of Corilagin in herpes simplex virus (HSV)-1 infected microglial cells and HSV-1 infected mouse brain. The cellular model was set with microglial cells stimulated by HSV-1 and divided respectively, into virus, astragalus polysaccharides (APS), Dexamethasone and Corilagin group.

HSV-1-inducible proteins bind to NF-κB-like Sites in the HSV-1 genome

Virology, 1992
Several putative NF-kappa B-binding sites in the ICP0 and Vmw65 herpes simplex virus type-1 (HSV-1) genes have been identified. Oligonucleotides encoding some of these sites bind specifically to purified NF-kappa B protein and an NF-kappa B-like protein in nuclear extracts of phorbol ester- or cycloheximide-induced human embryonic lung (HEL) cells. HSV-

Immunohistochemical evaluation of murine HSV-1 keratouveitis

Current Eye Research, 1989
The intraocular inflammatory reaction in a murine model of herpes simplex keratouveitis was studied using immunohistochemical techniques. 5 x 10(5) PFU of HSV-1 (Stewart strain) was applied to the abraded cornea of BALB/c mice. The subsequent development of keratouveitis was documented by sequential examination, conventional histology and ...
