Toxic effects of HT-2 toxin on mouse oocytes and its possible mechanisms
Archives of Toxicology, 2015T-2 toxin is one of the type A trichothecene mycotoxins that is considered to be the most toxic of the trichothecenes. T-2 toxin has been shown to exert various toxic effects in farm animals and humans, as it induces lesions in the brain and in lymphoid, hematopoietic, and gastrointestinal tissues. HT-2 toxin is the major metabolite of T-2 toxin. There

Accumulation of HT-2 toxin from contaminated mushroom compost by edible Agaricus bisporus
Food Additives & Contaminants: Part A, 2022Wheat straw is commonly used as a cellulose source in mushroom compost and could be a secondary source of mycotoxin contamination in the food chain. We cultivated edible Agaricus bisporus and Pleurotus ostreatus on T-2/HT-2 artificially-contaminated mushroom compost and developed and in-house validated an UHPLC-MS/MS method for determination of T-2, HT-

The pharmacokinetics of T-2 toxin and HT-2 toxin were investigated comparatively in five dogs, after iv administration of the toxins (0.4 mg/kg). T-2 toxin was very rapidly and almost completely biotransformed to HT-2 toxin (fm = 83.6 +/- 3.9%). The following mean pharmacokinetic parameters were determined in this study for T-2 toxin and HT-2 toxin ...

T-2 and HT-2 toxins belong to mycotoxins which are found in human foods and animal chow. We investigated the toxicity and oxidative stress induced by T-2/HT-2 in broilers and chicken hepatocytes. Maize cultures of Fusarium poae was fed to broilers for 42 d, and the physiological index, biochemical index and expression of mRNAs related to oxidative ...

Glucuronides of the mycotoxin T-2 toxin and its phase I metabolite HT-2 toxin are important phase II metabolites under in vivo and in vitro conditions. Since standard substances are essential for the direct quantitation of these glucuronides, a method for the enzymatic synthesis of T-2 and HT-2 toxin glucuronides employing liver microsomes was ...

Determination of T-2 and HT-2 Toxins in Commodities and Feed in Croatia
Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology, 2011Data on the occurrence of T-2 and HT-2 toxins in commodities and feed in Croatia and in Europe are very limited. In the present study, 50 feed and commodity samples tested for the presence of these mycotoxins yielded highest concentrations in cattle feed (67.68 ng/g) and oat samples (32.94 ng/g).

HT-2 toxin and T-2 toxin in commercial cereal processing in the United Kingdom, 2004-2007
World Mycotoxin Journal, 2009Legislation for mycotoxins in the European Union is being considered for T-2 toxin (T-2) and HT-2 toxin (HT-2). A four-year study on the fate of Fusarium mycotoxins in commercial milling and processing of cereals examined the incidence and concentrations of T-2 and HT-2 in wheat, oats and maize at intake to United Kingdom mills and during subsequent ...

Determination of T-2 Toxin and HT-2 Toxin in Milk: A Comparison of Three Formats of Immunoassays
Analytical Letters, 2012This research paper presents a comparative study of three formats of immunoassays, including conventional enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), one-step ELISA, and reverse enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (reELISA), for the determination of T-2 toxin (T-2) and HT-2 toxin (HT-2).

Antibody against ht-2 toxin-ht-2 toxin antibody complex
The present invention relates to a binding partner, in particular an antibody fragment recognizing an antigen-antibody immunocomplex between anti-HT-2 toxin and HT-2. A non-competitive immunoassay may be carried out using the binding partner of the present invention. A test kit and method comprising the binding partner are disclosed.Patent family as ofArola, Henri +2 more
