External humidification using membrane humidifiers is an attractive technology used in controlling the humidity of proton-exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) systems. Membrane humidifiers operate under passive conditions, requiring no external power, and

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

THE CIRCLE SYSTEM AS A HUMIDIFIER
In a laboratory model, humidity output was investigated in relation to the design of a circle absorber system. A 70-kg subject was simulated with fresh gas flows of 0.5, 2 or 5 litre min-1. Different circle systems, absorption canisters and tubings were studied.

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Influence of the time when humidifiers are filled on 95th percentile impacts.
Results are for Network E1 and an injection at 0:00 hours with a mass equal to 10 kg. Ultrasonic humidifiers are assumed to be used for eight hours each day by 20% of the population. Note that this figure should be viewed in color.

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Emission of Insoluble Mineral Particles from Ultrasonic Humidifiers
Ultrasonic humidifier use is a potential source of human exposure to inhalable particulates. This paper focused on the behavior of insoluble iron oxides particles, and aluminum oxide particles in ultrasonic humidifiers.

Performance of heated wire humidifiers: An in vitro study
PURPOSE: We assessed the performance of heated wire humidifiers (HWHs), which should avoid water condensation in the circuit. METHODS: We evaluated the efficiency of 3 HWHs, MR850 (Fisher & Paykel, Auckland, New Zealand), CONCHATHERM IV (Hudson RCI ...
