Quartz Crystal Microbalance Humidity Sensors Based on Structured Graphene Oxide Membranes with Magnesium Ions: Design, Mechanism and Performance

open access: yesMembranes, 2022
The application of graphene oxide (GO)-based membranes combined with a quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) as a humidity sensor has attracted great interest over the past few years.

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

Development of a compact, IoT-enabled electronic nose for breath analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
In this paper, we report on an in-house developed electronic nose (E-nose) for use with breath analysis. The unit consists of an array of 10 micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) metal oxide (MOX) gas sensors produced by seven manufacturers.

In vitro properties of patient serum predict clinical outcome after high dose rate brachytherapy of hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Following high dose rate brachytherapy (HDR‐BT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), patients were classified as responders and nonresponders. Post‐therapy serum induced increased BrdU incorporation and Cyclin E expression of Huh7 and HepG2 cells in nonresponders, but decreased levels in responders.

Low Humidity Characteristics of Polymer-Based Capacitive Humidity Sensors

open access: yesMetrology and Measurement Systems, 2017
Polymer-based capacitive humidity sensors emerged around 40 years ago; nevertheless, they currently constitute large part of sensors’ market within a range of medium (climatic and industrial) humidity 20−80%RH due to their linearity, stability and cost ...

Application of Low-Cost Electrochemical Sensors to Aqueous Systems to Allow Automated Determination of NH3 and H2S in Water

open access: yesSensors, 2020
Usage of commercially available electrochemical gas sensors is currently limited by both the working range of the sensor with respect to temperature and humidity and the spikes in sensor response caused by sudden changes in temperature or humidity. Using

SELF-OSCILLATING PARAMETRIC HUMIDITY SENSOR WITH FREQUENCY OUTPUT SIGNAL

open access: yesInformatyka, Automatyka, Pomiary w Gospodarce i Ochronie Środowiska, 2023
A self-oscillating parametric humidity sensor has been developed that implements the principle of "humidity-frequency" conversion into hybrid integrated circuit based on a microelectronic transistor structure with a negative differential resistance, in ...

Electronic setup for fluorescence emission measurements and long-time constant-temperature maintenance of Single-Walled Carbon Nano-Tubes in water solutions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In our previous research we have observed that the fluorescence emission from water solutions of Single-Walled Carbon Nano-Tubes (SWCNT), excited by a laser with a wavelength of 830nm, diminishes with the time.

Humidity Sensor - A Review of Nanostructured Zinc Oxide (ZnO)-Based Humidity Sensor [PDF]

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Research, 2015
We have reviewed humidity sensors based on the Zinc oxide (ZnO) humidity sensor. There are only a few papers reviewing on the ZnO humidity sensor. The characteristics, structures, advantages, and fabrication methods of ZnO have been studied to understand the suitability of the ZnO to be applied at different kind of condition such as for extreme ...

Inhibition of CDK9 enhances AML cell death induced by combined venetoclax and azacitidine

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The CDK9 inhibitor AZD4573 downregulates c‐MYC and MCL‐1 to induce death of cytarabine (AraC)‐resistant AML cells. This enhances VEN + AZA‐induced cell death significantly more than any combination of two of the three drugs in AraC‐resistant AML cells.
