A Chemically Defined Four‐Component Self‐Adjuvanting Tn Vaccine Activating Mincle, FcγR, and CD206 for Enhanced Antitumor Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A fully synthetic four‐component vaccine has been developed combining Tn antigen, vizantin (Mincle agonist), rhamnose (antibody recruitment), and mannose (CD206 targeting). By synergistically activating Mincle, FcγR, and CD206 pathways, it elicits strong IgG switching and cytotoxic T‐cells, significantly inhibiting tumors in mice.

Cell-Mediated Proteomics, and Serological and Mucosal Humoral Immune Responses after Seasonal Influenza Immunization: Characterization of Serological Responders and Non-Responders

open access: yesVaccines
Immunization against influenza through vaccination is the most effective method with which to prevent infection. To assess protection after immunization, analysing humoral response with a hemagglutinin inhibition assay is the gold standard, but cell ...

Porcine kidney xenotransplantation: From primate models to clinical reality

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
In the face of a critical shortage of human donor kidneys for end‐stage renal disease patients, porcine kidney xenotransplantation has emerged as a viable solution. This field has navigated major hurdles, including immune rejection, physiological incompatibilities, potential biomechanical differences and the risk of cross‐species infection. To overcome
