Role of ICAM-1 and ICAM-2 and alternate CD11/CD18 ligands in neutrophil transendothelial migration [PDF]
We evaluated the relative contribution of ICAM-1 and ICAM-2, known ligands on endothelium for LFA-1 and Mac-1, in spontaneous neutrophil (PMN) transendothelial migration (TEM) across IL-1-activated HUVEC monolayers or TEM induced by C5a or IL-8 across ...

Modified Titanium Dental Implants: The Current Progress of Soft‐Tissue Integration Methods
Dental implants are an established solution for tooth loss, yet achieving soft tissue integration (STI) around the transmucosal region remains a challenge. The natural tooth–gingiva interface is poorly replicated on titanium implants. This review explores surface modification strategies, ranging from surface chemistry and topography to biological ...

ICAM-1 transmembrane signaling: involvement of TAXREB107 in ICAM-1-mediated signal transduction [PDF]
The role of membrane ICAM-1 in intercellular adhesion, through interaction with the leukocyte beta2 integrin receptors LFA-1 and Mac-1, is well established.

ICAM-1 staining in lung. [PDF]
CLP was induced in mice (n = 8 in each group), there were three groups: 1- only CLP; 2- 30 min later treated with hypertonic saline 7.5% (CLP+H) or 3- treated with normal saline solution 0.9% (CLP+S).

Platelet membrane‐coated layered double hydroxide nanoparticles were engineered to target inflamed endothelium at early‐stage atherosclerosis and enhance therapeutic efficacy. The biomimetic platform improves stability, immune escape, and inflamed vascular cell targeting, resulting in reduced oxidative stress and downregulated adhesion molecules.

Intercellular adhesion molecules (ICAM)‐1 ICAM‐2 and ICAM‐3 function as counter‐receptors for lymphocyte function‐associated molecule 1 in human immunodeficiency virus‐mediated syncytia formation [PDF]
It has been previously demonstrated that lymphocyte function-associated molecule 1 (LFA-1) plays a major role in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-mediated syncytia formation.

SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP‐1 receptor agonists modestly lower blood pressure across diverse patient populations, including those without diabetes. These effects appear largely independent of glycaemic control and offer additive value in high‐risk patients with overlapping comorbidities.
