Force Spectroscopy of LFA-1 and Its Ligands, ICAM-1 and ICAM-2 [PDF]
Single-molecule measurements of the interaction of leukocyte function- associated antigen-1 (LFA-1), expressed on Jurkat T cells, with intercellular adhesion molecules-1 and -2 (ICAM-1 and ICAM-2) were conducted using atomic force microscopy (AFM).

Matrix Stiffness Induces Endothelial Network Senescence
Using a 3D human in vitro model that decouples mechanical stress from inflammatory or biochemical signals, matrix stiffening induces a senescence phenotype in endothelial networks. This mechano‐induced senescence activates Notch signaling, and pharmacologic Notch inhibition attenuates this stiffness‐induced senescence.

Slc44a2 Deficiency Unveils an IFN‐I–Dependent Feedback Control of pDC Egress
Working model of SLC44A2‐mediated maintenance of pDC homeostasis. This model illustrates two central mechanisms by which SLC44A2 regulates pDC homeostasis: (1) SLC44A2 limits IFN‐I production by exporting amino acids (T, N, Q), thereby preventing spontaneous pDC activation.

Peptide‐to‐Small Molecule Paradigm: Peptidomimetics have evolved from simple mimicry toward drug‐like scaffolds supported by increasing clinical successes. This Perspective highlights the geometric design principles—linear repetition, convergent fusion, and cyclization—defining the next‐generation peptidomimetic architectures capable of targeting ...

ICAM-1 C57BL/6 Mice Are Not Protected from Experimental Ischemic Stroke. [PDF]
Accumulation of neutrophils in the brain is a hallmark of cerebral ischemia and considered central in exacerbating tissue injury. Intercellular adhesion molecule (ICAM)-1 is upregulated on brain endothelial cells after ischemic stroke and considered ...

Trypsinogen‐loaded nanoparticles reprogram TAMs via NF‐κB/NLRP3, driving M2→M1 conversion and potent phagocytosis to unleash antitumor immunity. ABSTRACT Although reprogramming tumor‐associated macrophages (TAMs) represents a promising therapeutic strategy, approaches that are both precise and safe remain scarce.
