This study established a closed‐tube LAMP‐LFD assay for detecting Rodentibacter heylii and Rodentibacter pneumotropicus. The method exhibited high sensitivity (detection limits of 10−5 ng/μL for R. heylii and 10−4 ng/μL for R. pneumotropicus), high specificity, reliable performance with clinical samples, and effective validation in experimental ...

Animal models of idiopathic membranous nephropathy: Recent advances and future perspectives
This review focuses on the evolution of idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN) animal models from traditional approaches (Heymann nephritis, C‐BSA, APA) to antigen‐specific models (PLA2R, THSD7A), critically evaluating their advances and limitations in replicating human IMN pathology.

Reproductive Ability of Germfree ICR Female Mice
Reproductive ability of germfree and conventional female ICR mice was examined. Litter size and number of fetuses of germfree ICR mice kept in Facility A were smaller than those of Jcl: ICR mice. No difference was seen in oestrous cycle, pregnant rate, gestation period, weaning rate and number of corpora lutea between germfree and conventional mice ...

Objective Somatic DNMT3A mutations are the most common drivers of clonal hematopoiesis in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and have been associated with seropositive disease and increased inflammatory markers. These mutations are predominantly hypomorphic or dominant‐negative, reducing DNMT3A function.

On the importance of including both sexes in animal studies – insights from home‐cage monitoring
ABSTRACT A review of behavioural studies using home‐cage monitoring (HCM) systems revealed that over 61% of studies used only male subjects, with only 24% including both sexes, despite evidence of substantial behavioural differences between male and female animals. This bias could influence the outcomes of biomedical research.

Effect of lyophilized aqueous leaf extract of Aquilaria subintegra on aphrodisiac properties in mice
Objective: To investigate the effects of Aquilaria subintegra leaf aqueous extracts on the aphrodisiac properties including sexual behaviour, testosterone level, percentage of pregnancy, number of offspring and male to female ratio of offspring in ICR ...

Three‐dimensional observation of the muscle–tendon integration process in mouse embryos
Abstract Background Muscle–tendon integration is a crucial step in the morphogenesis of the vertebrate locomotion system. As the limb muscle and tendon progenitor cells derive from distinct embryonic origin, their integration requires precise mutual positioning.

Pairmate-dependent pup retrieval as parental behavior in male mice
Appropriate parental care by fathers can greatly facilitate healthy human family life. However, much less is known about paternal behavior in animals compared to those regarding maternal behavior.
