Factor Ideals of Some Representation Algebras [PDF]
Throughout this paper F is an algebraically closed field of characteristic p (≠ 0) and g is a finite group whose order is divisible by p. We define in the usual way an F-representation of g (or F G-representation) and its corresponding module. The isomorphism class of the, F G-representation module M is written {M} or, where no confusion arises, M.

How phagocytic cells kill bacteria: Lessons from a professional killer
How phagocytic cells ingest and kill bacteria has been studied for more than a century, but many questions remain unanswered. The study of the amoeba Dictyostelium discoideum brings new answers, and new questions. Professional phagocytic cells such as neutrophils and macrophages, as well as free‐living soil amoebae like Dictyostelium discoideum, employ

Repair of neuronal DNA damage in Alzheimer's disease by KCL‐286. (A) Amyloid‐β oligomers and plaques impair neuronal DNA repair pathways, leading to DNA double‐strand breaks and glial activation. (B) KCL‐286 activates RARβ/RXR signalling via retinoic acid response elements (RAREs), associated with increased BRCA1 expression, enhanced DNA repair and ...

Protocol for quantifying miRNA trafficking across the endosomal membrane
An in vitro protocol measures miRNA uptake into endosomes isolated from mammalian cell extracts, which are free of subcellular contaminants. Performed at 37 °C in the presence of ATP, it ensures the import of single‐stranded miRNA into the endosomal lumen.

A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis of the Recurrence of Autoimmune Encephalitis
ABSTRACT Objective Autoimmune encephalitis (AE) is a disease with a potential for recurrence, and patients receive immunotherapy to prevent it. However, there is no consensus on the duration of immunotherapy. This study aimed to determine the recurrence rate and identify the risk factors for AE to provide guidance on the duration of immunotherapy ...

Influence of absorbed gamma-ray dose on the characteristics of semiconductor detectors of electromagnetic radiation [PDF]
Since the radiation effect manifest itself in association with other macroscopic phenomena (temperature, voltage, noise), the central topic examined in this paper is the influence of the dose of gamma radiation on macroscopic characteristics, i.

Factorization of prime ideal extensions in number rings [PDF]
It is introduced a method for factoring a prime ideal extension in number rings. The method makes use of factorization of polynomials in many variables over finite fields. The method can be applied to any prime and any number field extensions.
