Hydroxypropyl Cellulose Assembled Microspheres as Structural Color Barcodes from Revolving Microfluidics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A high‐speed revolving microfluidic platform is developed for emulsifying high‐viscosity HPC‐MA solution to form droplets, which can be self‐assembled into CLCs by water evaporation and cured as structure color particles with well‐defined and adjustable encoding information while maintaining excellent biocompatibility.

Fluorescence Color Gradient Immunochromatographic Assay for Highly‐Sensitive, Quantitative, and Simultaneous Detection of Small‐Molecule Pollutants

open access: yesAggregate, EarlyView.
This article reports on a universal fluorescence color gradient immunochromatographic assay (FCGICA) technology based on the superposition of red and green fluorescence dual signals, which enables ultra‐sensitive, wide‐range, and simultaneous quantitative detection of multiple small molecules in complex samples.

Standardization of Immunoassays [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
While immunoassays are now used in a variety of fields including medical, food technology and environmental protection because of their high sensitivity, high specificity and ease of automation to provide highly cost effective analyses, it has been in medical testing that their standardization has been most intensely developed.

Adverse Cardiovascular Risk Profile and Increased Diurnal Salivary Cortisol in Girls With Turner Syndrome: An Exploratory Study

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part C: Seminars in Medical Genetics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Patients with Turner Syndrome (TS) and those exposed to high concentrations of glucocorticoids have a number of characteristics in common, including an increased risk of cardiovascular disease. Pediatric TS patients underwent studies of salivary cortisol (SC) and cortisone (SCn), body composition, continuous glucose monitoring, vascular ...

An optimized perfusate for enhanced rat ex vivo lung perfusion and lung transplant models

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
We explored a low‐cost and efficient perfusate composition for use in rat ex vivo lung perfusion (EVLP) and lung transplant models. This perfusate demonstrates better biocompatibility, likely due to a reduction in immune responses associated with high doses of xenogenic proteins, resulting in less lung injury posttransplantation.
