Development of human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 by yeast display
Human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 are generated by yeast display‐guided selection. These antibodies bind to soluble and cell‐surface forms of TARM1. Also, these antibodies exhibit agonistic activity in the NFAT‐GFP reporter assay, indicating that TARM1 signaling can be functionally modulated by antibodies and suggesting TARM1 as a potential ...

Immunoglobulin G4-Related Pancreatic and Biliary Diseases
BACKGROUND: Autoimmune pancreatitis and autoimmune cholangitis are new clinical entities that are now recognized as the pancreaticobiliary manifestations of immunoglobulin (Ig) G4-related disease.

To explore the changes in C-reactive protein (CRP), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), human leukocyte antigen-B27 (HLA-B27), and immunoglobulin (Ig) (IgA, IgG, and IgM) in patients suffering from ankylosing spondylitis (AS).

This study explores the feasibility of expressing the antitumoral protein Amblyomin‐X through a suicide gene therapy approach and investigates its intracellular fate after gene delivery. Although the gene is efficiently expressed, melanoma cells rapidly degrade the Amblyomin‐X protein via proteasome activity.

Immunoglobulin replacement therapies in inborn errors of immunity: a review
Immunoglobulins (Ig) were used as a therapeutic modality for the first time in a patient with X-linked agammaglobulinemia in 1952 by Colonel Ogden Bruton, decades before the molecular mechanisms causing the disease were unraveled.

Targeting of somatic hypermutation by immunoglobulin enhancer and enhancer-like sequences.
Somatic hypermutation (SH) generates point mutations within rearranged immunoglobulin (Ig) genes of activated B cells, providing genetic diversity for the affinity maturation of antibodies.

The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...
