A Personalised Vaccination Program Based on Immune Reconstitution in Paediatric Cancer Survivors
ABSTRACT Aims Paediatric cancer survivors often experience treatment‐induced immunosuppression, requiring post‐treatment revaccination. However, immune recovery timelines vary, and current revaccination guidelines, largely based on data of varied quality derived from studies on acute‐lymphoblastic‐leukaemia (ALL), may not be applicable across all ...

Spatial heterogeneity limits the sensitivity of bone marrow biopsies, resulting in false‐negative findings. Circulating tumour cells (CTCs) provide a systemic, stratified monitoring approach, using flow cytometry for high tumour burden and EuroFlow or allele‐specific oligonucleotide PCR (ASO‐PCR) for minimal residual disease to enable early relapse ...

Stimulation of κ Light-Chain Gene Rearrangement by the Immunoglobulin, µ Heavy Chain in a Pre-B-Cell Line [PDF]
B-lymphocyte development exhibits a characteristic order of immunoglobulin gene rearrangements. Previous work has led to the hypothesis that expression of the immunoglobulin µ heavy chain induces rearrangement activity at the K light-chain locus.
