HLA-E/Mtb specific CD4+ and CD8+ T cells have a memory phenotype in individuals with TB infection
IntroductionTuberculosis (TB) is the deadliest infectious disease worldwide and novel vaccines are urgently needed. HLA-E is a virtually monomorphic antigen presentation molecule and is not downregulated upon HIV co-infection.

Extremely low viral reservoir in treated chronically HIV-1-infected individuals
Background: Small viral reservoirs are found predominantly in HIV-1 controllers and individuals treated during acute/early HIV-1 infection. However, other HIV+ individuals could naturally also harbour low viral reservoirs.

ABSTRACT Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) remains a leading cause of cancer mortality with limited therapeutic options. Disulfidptosis, a novel cell death modality driven by disulfide stress, represents a promising target, yet its regulation in LUAD is poorly defined. Here, we identify Pannexin 2 (PANX2) as a tumor suppressor in LUAD.

A dual‐function cell‐free therapeutic based on DC2.4 cell‐derived exosomes engineered to display BCMA. (Left) Soluble Ligand Sequestration (Decoy Function): DB Exo act as molecular decoys that predominantly sequester soluble APRIL with partial BAFF attenuation, effectively disrupting the NF‐κB survival signaling axis and suppressing myeloma cell ...

Reprogramming the Immune Landscape of Inflammatory Breast Cancer
Inflammatory breast cancer is the most lethal subtype of breast cancer and is characterized by an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME) driven by a complex network of immune cells and inflammatory cytokines, contributing to its aggressiveness and treatment challenges. Immune checkpoint inhibitors, either alone or in combination, show potential

Microglia immunophenotyping in gliomas
Microglia, once assimilated to peripheral macrophages, in gliomas has long been discussed and currently it is hypothesized to play a pro-tumor role in tumor progression. Uncertain between M1 and M2 polarization, it exchanges signals with glioma cells to create an immunosuppressive microenvironment and stimulates cell proliferation and migration.
