Formation Age of Ernutet Crater, Ceres, and Implications for Origin of the Organics
Ceres is the largest body in the Main Asteroid Belt and has a unique composition characterized by products of aqueous alteration such as carbonates, ammoniated phyllosilicates, and organic materials in concentrated regions.

Droplet impact phenomena in nanolithography [PDF]
Extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUVL) is the next generation of photo-lithography technology used by the semiconductor industry for the manufacturing of integrated circuits. Fundamental understanding of the fluid dynamics inside this machine is crucial to optimize and stabilize the EUV light used in this machine.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Hydrous Chondrites under Shock
We examine the shock response of a chondrule-like multicomponent silicate melt enriched with 2 wt% H _2 O, representative of hydrous chondrites, using ab initio molecular dynamics.

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Ejecta Blankets at Small Craters on the Moon
Impact-derived ejecta covers most of the lunar surface, originating from recent impacts through to the beginning of the geologic record. Despite how common ejecta is, accurate measurements of ejecta thickness are difficult to obtain, and existing ...
