Assessing Astrophysical Uncertainties in Direct Detection with Galaxy Simulations
We study the local dark matter velocity distribution in simulated Milky Way-mass galaxies, generated at high resolution with both dark matter and baryons.

From the cell membrane to the nucleus: unearthing transport mechanisms for Dynein [PDF]
Mutations in the motor protein cytoplasmic dynein have been found to cause Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, spinal muscular atrophy, and severe intellectual disabilities in humans. In mouse models, neurodegeneration is observed.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Numerical analysis of geometrical and mechanical characteristics of the sliding mass influences on impulsive wave generation in dam reservoirs [PDF]
Impulsive waves caused by landslides into lakes and dam reservoirs strike the shores and dam bodies as large waves. The most important factor in their generation is the transfer of momentum from the mass to the water, which can cause damage.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

New Experimental Technique for Dynamic Bending of Composite Materials
The paper is reporting a new experimental technique to study the dynamic behaviour of composite materials subjected to bending direct impact. It is based on the Hopkinson bar system allowing to observe material behaviour at very high impact velocities ...

A REVIEW OF PENETRATION TUNGSTEN BASED PROJECTILE ON DEPTH OF PENETRATION AT ARMOR OF CERAMIC BASED
Nowadays, tungsten-based material is used for the core of projectile, while ceramic-based is used for the main material of armor. Tungsten-based material is chosen because it has density and hardness superior to steel based-material.

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.
