Emergent Freestanding Complex Oxide Membranes for Multifunctional Applications
This review surveys freestanding oxide membranes and covers fabrication and three pathways for studies and devices: strain‐free and strained membranes, and van der Waals‐integrated heterostructures. We show how coupled oxide responses map onto these routes and cross‐couple to expand behaviors.

Vortex Ring Dynamics in Trapped Bose-Einstein Condensates
We use the time-dependent Gross-Pitaevskii equation to study the motion of a vortex ring produced by phase imprinting on an elongated cloud of cold atoms. Our approach models the experiments of Yefsah et. al.

Opportunities for Multiscale Pattern Modulation with Temporally Arrested Breath Figures
This works presents the temporally arrested breath figure methodology and its opportunities for pattern modulation. Through thermodynamic and photochemical phase change handles, this method uses drop‐wise condensation as a dynamic template for fast, accessible and scalable micropatterning.

Continuity and Change in Spin-off Meta-organizations: An Imprinting Perspective
Research into meta-organizations – or organizations whose members are organizations – does not explain the observation that members may decouple themselves from ‘parent’ organizations and form ‘child’ organizations that pursue more targeted objectives ...

Very small deletions within the NESP55 gene in pseudohypoparathyroidism type 1b
Pseudohypoparathyroidism (PHP) is caused by reduced expression of genes within the GNAS cluster, resulting in parathormone resistance. The cluster contains multiple imprinted transcripts, including the stimulatory G protein α subunit (Gs-α) and NESP55 ...

The role of epigenetic factors in the pathogenesis of neurofibromatosis type 1
The article describes the role of epigenetic processes in the tumorigenesis of neurofibromatosis type 1. The clinical manifestations of neurofibromatosis type 1 is characterized by a pronounced polymorphism erased from with single neurofibromas to severe
