IN SITU AND EX SITU CONSERVATION IN BIODIVERSITY PROTECTION
Conservation of biodiversity is essential for maintaining the ecological balance, ensuring sustainable ecosystems, and supporting human livelihoods. It requires strategies that protect species, populations, and habitats from extinction, genetic erosion, and environmental degradation.

Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) show promise for treating immune‐related disorders through immunomodulation and tissue regeneration. This review gives a brief overview of current clinical approval of MSC therapies. It also discussed how bioengineering, including genetic modification, biomaterial delivery, extracellular vesicles, and iPSC‐derived MSCs,

New antifouling products for in situ conservation of archaeological artifacts located in underwater environment [PDF]
This research is part of the national project entitled COMAS (Planned COnservation, ‘‘in situ’’, of underwater archaeological artefacts), concerning the degradation phenomena occurring during the permanence of archaeological items in underwater ...

Bone cancer pain and depression share a common origin: astrocytic A2‐to‐A1 transition in the posterior piriform cortex. This phenotypic shift disrupts the ATP–adenosine–A2AR–norepinephrine axis, simultaneously driving nociceptive and affective dysfunction.

Conserving the in Situ Archaeological Record [PDF]
In the 20th century, archaeologists made great strides in learning to understand the material record of past human life. Concurrently, destruction of the archaeological record increased as population growth, economic development, and looting took a ...

Glioblastoma (GBM) exhibits RFX7 silencing via promoter hypermethylation, which downregulates PIK3IP1 to activate PI3K/AKT signaling, increase lactate accumulation, and enhance histone H4K12 lactylation. This lactylation upregulates PD‐L1/CSF1 expression and drives the immunosuppressive microenvironment formation.
