Ganoderma lucidum Polysaccharide Potentiates mRNA-LNP Efficacy: Synergizing Oxidative Stress Mitigation with Innate Immune Modulation

open access: yesPharmaceutics
Background/Objectives: As a primary mRNA delivery platform, lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) often induce oxidative stress that compromises mRNA translation efficiency. Natural polysaccharides are known for their antioxidant properties.

Rrecent trends in the size and the distribution of inherited wealth in the UK [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we document the evolution of the annual flow of inheritances in the UK during the period 1984-2005 and provide estimates for the overall magnitude and the distribution of inherited wealth.

Infinite-horizon choice functions [PDF]

open access: yes
We analyze infinite-horizon choice functions within the setting of a simple technology. Efficiency and time consistency are characterized by stationary consumption and inheritance functions, as well as a transversality condition. In addition, we consider

Stoichiometry‐Programmed MXenes via Precursor Engineering for High‐Performance EMI Shielding and Energy Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Precursor carbon stoichiometry programs internal strain and oxygen substitution in Ti3AlCxO2‐x, deterministically switching Ti3CxO2‐xTz MXenes between highly aligned 2D nanosheets and spontaneous 1D nanoscrolls. This synthesis‐stage architecture control enables ultrathin X/W‐band EMI shielding with outstanding mass‐normalized performance and bending ...

Average Convexity in Communication Situations [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we study inheritance properties of average convexity in communication situations. We show that the underlying graph ensures that the graphrestricted game originating from an average convex game is average convex if and only if every ...

Recent Progress in the Phase‐Controlled Synthesis of Ruthenium Nanocrystals for Catalytic Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Template effect and kinetic control enable crystal‐phase engineering of Ru nanocrystals, granting access to either metastable fcc‐Ru or stable hcp‐Ru with distinct surface structures, thermal stabilities, and catalytic behaviors. Moreover, the hcp‐Ru can further serve as an epitaxial template to direct Pd and Rh nanocrystals into the metastable hcp ...

Composition Restoration Enables Recycling of Mixed‐Cation, Mixed‐Halide Perovskites for Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Compositional drift during processing prevents the direct recycling of mixed‐cation, mixed‐halide perovskites. This work introduces a framework to quantitatively audit and restore recovered materials, enabling closed‐loop recycling with efficiencies comparable to virgin perovskites.

Impact of Oxygen Plasma Pre‐Treatment on Thermal Oxidation and Reliability of SiO2 on 4H‐SiC

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
We investigate how oxygen plasma pre‐treatment affects the thermal oxidation of silicon carbide. While plasma modification increases growth rates by 84%, it reduces dielectric breakdown strength by 18%. Our findings reveal that although plasma improves the interface state density, it introduces structural damage, highlighting a critical trade‐off ...
