Immunoelectron microscopy: a new method for detection of insulin antibodies.
The aim of the present study was to set up a sensitive technical alternative to the classical procedures for detection of human insulin antibodies. We developed a method of post-embedding immunoelectron microscopy (IEM) using as the substrate fresh ...

Malectin alleviates high glucose‐induced ER stress and damage in placental trophoblasts, a function dependent on its six critical carbohydrate‐binding residues. In a GDM mouse model, administration of TAT‐Malectin ameliorated hyperglycemia and placental ER stress and prevented fetal macrosomia.

Anti-insulin antibodies and retinopathy in juvenile onset type-1 diabetes
Juvenile diabetics have severe loss of beta cell function and require replacement therapy with insulin. Insulin antigenicity can produce anti-insulin antibodies resulting in allergic reactions and insulin resistance.

LMO7 Suppresses Tumor‐Associated Macrophage Phagocytosis of Tumor Cells Through Degradation of LRP1
LMO7 in tumor‐associated macrophages suppresses phagocytosis of tumor cells and limits cytotoxic T lymphocytes infiltration, fostering tumor progression. Mechanistically, LMO7 mediates the ubiquitination and degradation of the phagocytic receptor LRP1, impairing its ability to engulf tumor cells and driving macrophages toward an antitumor phenotype ...

SETDB1 is progressively downregulated in ALD, correlating with disease severity. SETDB1 deficiency impairs LAP by disrupting Rubicon membrane localization, leading to defective lipid droplet clearance. Concurrently, loss of SETDB1 reduces nuclear LC3B, causing R‐loop accumulation and cGAS‐STING‐driven inflammation. Lipidated LC3B mediates LAP‐dependent

Measurement of Antibodies to Insulin in Serum
Abstract I describe a method for measuring insulin antibodies in insulin-treated subjects. The antibodies are characterized by maximum binding capacity and affinity constant. Endogenous and therapeutic insulin interferes in insulin antibody assay, and it is removed by dextran—charcoal treatment at pH 3.5.

AIMS/HYPOTHESIS: Bi-allelic loss-of-function mutations in the INSR gene (encoding the insulin receptor [INSR]) commonly cause extreme insulin resistance and early mortality.

Unraveling the Molecular Mechanisms Underlying Spontaneous Multipolar Mitosis Through CIN‐seq
Multipolar mitosis, a hallmark of chromosomal instability (CIN), drives tumor heterogeneity but is challenging to study in live cells. Using CIN‐seq, a single‐cell multiomics method, we profiled rare CIN events and identified mechanisms associated with viable multipolar mitosis, including PTEN attenuation, Rho GTPase‐driven cytokinesis failure, and ...
