Engineered Plasmonic and Fluorescent Nanomaterials for Biosensing, Motion, Imaging, and Therapeutic Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A schematic illustration of how noble metals can be used to create nanoparticles (NPs) or nanoclusters (NCs). Noble metal NPs, due to their plasmonic properties, enable photothermal therapy and surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). In contrast, NCs, which lack a plasmonic resonance band, exhibit fluorescence, making them ideal for bioimaging ...

Artesunate Nanoplatform Targets the Serine–MAPK Axis in Cancer‐Associated Fibroblasts to Reverse Photothermal Resistance in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The artesunate nanoplatform selectively targets ECM CAF, functioning as a GTPase inhibitor through disruption of intracellular serine homeostasis. This metabolic intervention effectively suppresses MAPK cascade activity, which consequently inhibits PTT‐induced CAF to ECM CAF differentiation.

Pengembangan Model Hewan Percobaan Tikus Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 Karena Resistensi Insulin Yang Diinduksi Dengan Human Insulin Jangka Panjang [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Hyperinsulinemia may precede insulin resistance in patients with Type 2 diabetes. In this study, we tried to reveal an influence of long-term treatment of human insulin to hyperglycemic and insulin resistance in male Wistar rats. Before the experiment,

Biomimetic Cell Membrane‐Coated Scaffolds for Enhanced Tissue Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines the development and use of cell membrane‐coated scaffolds in tissue engineering. Bioinspired phospholipid and glycocalyx coatings enhance anti‐fouling, anti‐thrombogenic, and selective molecular recognition properties. Native cell membrane coatings further support cell‐specific interactions, immune modulation, and reduced bacterial

Insulin resistance for glucose metabolism in disused soleus muscle of mice [PDF]

open access: yes
Results of this study on mice provide the first direct evidence of insulin resistance for glucose metabolism in skeletal muscle that has undergone a previous period of reduced muscle usage.
