The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Well-posed problems for the fractional Laplace equation with integral boundary conditions [PDF]
In this remark we study the boundary-value problems for a fractional analogue of the Laplace equation with integral boundary conditions in rectangular and half-strip domains.

In this paper we study path integral for a single spinless particle on a star graph with N edges, whose vertex is known to be described by U(N) family of boundary conditions.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH INTEGRAL BOUNDARY CONDITIONS
AbstractHyperbolic nonconservative partial differential equations, such as the Von Foerster system, in which boundary conditions may depend upon the dependent variable (integral boundary conditions, for example) are solved by an approximation method based on similar work of the author for (nonlinear stochastic) ordinary differential equations.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Existence results for nonlinear boundary-value problems with integral boundary conditions
In this paper, we investigate the existence of solutions for a second order nonlinear boundary-value problem with integral boundary conditions. By using suitable fixed point theorems, we study the cases when the right hand side has convex and ...

Localized direct segregated boundary-domain integral equations for variable-coefficient transmission problems with interface crack [PDF]
The full text of the published article can be accessed at the link belowSome transmission problems for scalar second order elliptic partial differential equations are considered in a bounded composite domain consisting of adjacent anisotropic subdomains ...

Starting from the Bethe Ansatz solution of the open integrable spin-1 XXZ quantum spin chain with diagonal boundary terms, we derive a set of nonlinear integral equations (NLIEs), which we propose to describe the boundary supersymmetric sine-Gordon model
