Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Studying a system of non-local condition hyperbolic equations
Local boundary value problems for hyperbolic differential equations have been studied in considerable detail. However, the mathematical modeling of a number of real-world processes leads to nonlocal boundary value problems involving nonlinear hyperbolic

Boundary value problems for n-th order differential inclusions with four-point integral boundary conditions [PDF]
In this paper, we discuss the existence of solutions for a four-point integral boundary value problem of \(n\)-th order differential inclusions involving convex and non-convex multivalued maps. The existence results are obtained by applying the nonlinear

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

On some higher order boundary value problems at resonance with integral boundary conditions
This paper investigates the existence of solutions for higher-order multipoint boundary value problems at resonance. We obtain existence results by using coincidence degree arguments.

PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH INTEGRAL BOUNDARY CONDITIONS
AbstractHyperbolic nonconservative partial differential equations, such as the Von Foerster system, in which boundary conditions may depend upon the dependent variable (integral boundary conditions, for example) are solved by an approximation method based on similar work of the author for (nonlinear stochastic) ordinary differential equations.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.
