New Combined Eye Gel with Alpha-2-Beta Interferon

Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2020
The results of the development of combined eye gel with interferon alpha-2-beta are presented. Experimental samples of the gel based on different gelling agents were prepared and their biotechnological and technological characteristics (the absence of the cytotoxic effect, aggregation stability, osmotic activity, bioadhesion, and rheological parameters)

Immunochemical mapping of .alpha.-2 interferon

Biochemistry, 1985
A panel of five monoclonal antibodies, designated U1-U5, produced by murine hybridoma clones has been raised to recombinant interferon (IFN) alpha-2, and one monoclonal antibody, designated U6, has been raised to a mixture of cyanogen bromide fragments of IFN alpha-2.

Interleukin-2 and interferon alpha 2 combination

Oncology Reports, 1996
We have studied activity and toxicity of subcutaneous recombinant interleukin-2 and interferon alpha 2b in a series of 14 patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma. No objective response was observed, and the median survival was 16 months (range 3-19); toxicity was acceptable.

Recombinant alpha2 interferon-related cardiomyopathy

The American Journal of Medicine, 1988
I nterferons are naturally occurring proteins with antiviral, antitumor, and immune-modulating activities. Three groups of interferons have been identified: alpha interferon, derived from leukocytes; beta interferon, from fibroblasts, and most recently, gamma interferon, which is derived from lymphocytes.

Interferon-alpha-2 in the treatment of idiopathic myelofibrosis

Blut, 1988
We investigated the effect of human recombinant DNA-derived IFN-alpha-2 given in a dose of 1-2 X 10(6) units daily by subcutaneous injection to five patients with advanced idiopathic myelofibrosis (IM). Transfusion dependent anemia and symptomatic splenomegaly were taken as inclusion criteria for this pilot study.
