Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Development of human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 by yeast display
Human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 are generated by yeast display‐guided selection. These antibodies bind to soluble and cell‐surface forms of TARM1. Also, these antibodies exhibit agonistic activity in the NFAT‐GFP reporter assay, indicating that TARM1 signaling can be functionally modulated by antibodies and suggesting TARM1 as a potential ...

Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

Hematopoietic, immunomodulatory and epithelial effects of interleukin-11 [PDF]
Interleukin 11 (IL-11) is a pleiotropic cytokine with biological activities on many different cell types. Recombinant human IL-11 (rhIL-11) is produced by recombinant DNA technology in Escherichia coli. Both in vitro and in vivo, rhIL-11 has shown effects on multiple hematopoietic cell types.

The dual roles of CC and CXC chemokines in distinguishing active, latent, and subclinical tuberculosis were reviewed, along with an evaluation of their potential as diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets to advance precision medicine in tuberculosis management. The graphical abstract was generated with AI assistance (Gemini 3.0).

Interleukin-11 enhances human megakaryocytopoiesis in vitro [PDF]
We investigated the effect of recombinant human interleukin-11 (rhIL- 11) on human megakaryocytopoiesis. Nonadherent and T-cell-depleted human bone marrow (BM) mononuclear cells were cultured in a serum-free agar culture system. rhIL-11 alone did not stimulate the growth of human megakaryocyte colonies.
