An immunoregulatory hydrogel based on sodium ascorbate (SA)‐accelerated gelation and in situ self‐mineralization is prepared here. Such a hydrogel is constructed by mixing benzaldehyde‐ and cyanoacetate‐functionalized dextran with silver nitrate (AgNO3) and SA, enabling the ultrafast solidification and in situ self‐mineralization of silver ...

The TPR‐LYTACs nanomaterial offers a dual‐pathway strategy for precise gouty arthritis treatment by targeting and degrading the ROS‐producing enzyme NOX2 inside macrophages while its antioxidant core clears accumulated ROS outside. This “source inhibition and microenvironment scavenging” approach, guided by NIR‐II imaging, effectively controls local ...

ABSTRACT Doxorubicin‐induced cardiomyopathy (DIC) remains a dose‐limiting clinical challenge. This study reveals that cardiac vascular endothelial cells (CVECs) act as initial sensors of doxorubicin cardiotoxicity: circulating doxorubicin activates the cGAS‑STING pathway in CVECs, triggering NLRP3 inflammasome‑mediated pyroptosis and release of ...

A hybrid biomechanical–electromagnetic energy‐harvesting e‐skin is developed using a gelatin‐based outer matrix with a zwitterionic conductive inner layer. The e‐skin autonomously generates stable electrical stimulation from daily body motion and ambient electronics, enabling significantly enhanced wound healing bothin vitro and in vivo.

Interaction between the pro-inflammatory cytokine interleukin-23 (IL-23) and IL-23 receptor (IL-23R) is related to the development of inflammatory autoimmune diseases such as psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease, and Crohn's disease. In this study, we conducted systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment (SELEX) for in vitro selection ...

The critical role of interleukin-23 in spondyloarthropathy
Molecular Immunology, 2014The spondyloarthropathies represent highly enigmatic conditions and although their clinical features, anatomical distribution of disease and genetic predisposing factors have been known for some time, a unified concept of the basic pathobiology underlying these illnesses has remained undefined.

Interleukin-23: A New Atherosclerosis Target
Journal of Interferon & Cytokine Research, 2018Accumulating evidence has shown that atherosclerosis is an inflammatory disease. The pathogenesis of atherosclerosis has been confirmed to involve an imbalance in anti-inflammatory/proinflammatory processes. Interleukin-23 (IL-23) is a heterodimeric cytokine composed of the IL-23p19 and IL-12p40 subunits of the IL-12 family. Experiments show that IL-23
