Role of IL-4 and IL-13 in Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma
The interleukins IL-4 and IL-13 are increasingly recognized contributors to the pathogenesis of cutaneous T cell lymphomas (CTCLs), and their role in disease-associated pruritus is accepted.

The role of IL-6 for predicting neonatal sepsis: A systematic review and meta-analysis [PDF]
Objective: Neonatal sepsis (NS) is a common and life-threatening disorder in infants. Previous studies showed that interleukin-6 (IL-6) may be a valid non-invasive and rapid method for diagnosis of NS.

Bone formation in interleukin‐4 and interleukin‐13 depleted mice [PDF]
Cytokines play an important role in the complex process of bone formation. We have previously found an altered skeletal phenotype with reduction of cortical bone mass in mice depleted of the 2 cytokines interleukin-4 (IL-4) and interleukin-13 (IL 13). The present study was performed to investigate a potential role of IL-4 and IL-13 in fracture healing ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Interleukin-4 and Interleukin-13 Differentially Regulate Epithelial Chloride Secretion [PDF]
Intestinal epithelia are in intimate contact with subepithelial and intraepithelial lymphocytes. When stimulated, mucosal lymphocytes generate cytokines that act locally and influence functional aspects of many cell types. We have previously defined functional epithelial receptors for interferon-gamma, interleukin (IL)-4, and a recently described IL-4 ...
