The Inverse Spectral Problem for Jacobi-Type Pencils [PDF]
In this paper we study the inverse spectral problem for Jacobi-type pencils. By a Jacobi-type pencil we mean the following pencil $J_5 - \lambda J_3$, where $J_3$ is a Jacobi matrix and $J_5$ is a semi-infinite real symmetric five-diagonal matrix with ...

On a Matrix over NC and Multiset NC Semigroups
In this paper, we define a matrix over neutrosophic components (NCs), which was built using the four different intervals 0,1,0,1,0,1, and 0,1. This definition was made clear by introducing some examples.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Positive Semidefiniteness and Positive Definiteness of a Linear Parametric Interval Matrix
We consider a symmetric matrix, the entries of which depend linearly on some parameters. The domains of the parameters are compact real intervals. We investigate the problem of checking whether for each (or some) setting of the parameters, the matrix is ...

Algebraic Bethe Ansatz for O(2N) sigma models with integrable diagonal boundaries [PDF]
The finite volume problem of O(2N) sigma models with integrable diagonal boundaries on a finite interval is investigated. The double row transfer matrix is diagonalized by Algebraic Bethe Ansatz.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

The Probability of an Eigenvalue Number Fluctuation in an Interval of a Random Matrix Spectrum
We calculate the probability to find exactly $n$ eigenvalues in a spectral interval of a large random $N \times N$ matrix when this interval contains $s \ll N$ eigenvalues on average.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Reduced-Order and Full-Order Interval Observers Design for Discrete-Time System
In this paper, the design of reduced-order and full-order interval observers for discrete-time system is investigated. First, the original system is transformed into a descriptor system with the ability to estimate the unknown noise of sensors.

An interval Kalman filter enhanced by lowering the covariance matrix upper bound
This paper proposes a variance upper bound based interval Kalman filter that enhances the interval Kalman filter based on the same principle proposed by Tran et al. (2017) for uncertain discrete time linear models.
