Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Variation diminution and intervals of sign regular matrices

open access: yesResults in Applied Mathematics
A sign regular matrix is a matrix having the property that its non-zero minors of all orders have, for each order, an identical sign. Such matrices arise in a wide range of applications. In this paper, intervals of real matrices with respect to the usual

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

The Differentiation Matrix for Daubechies-Based Wavelets on an Interval [PDF]

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Scientific Computing, 1996
The paper explores the accuracy of the differentiation matrix for Daubechies-based wavelet systems defined on an interval. For the wavelets with two vanishing moments \((D_4\) wavelets), using the boundary functions defined by \textit{A. Cohen, I. Daubechies} and \textit{P. Vial} [Appl. Comput. Harmon. Anal. 1, No.

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Parallel Implementation of Interval Matrix Multiplication. [PDF]

open access: yesReliab. Comput., 2013
Two main and not necessarily compatible objectives when implementing the product of two dense matrices with interval coefficients are accuracy and efficiency. In this work, we focus on an implementation on multicore architectures. One direction successfully explored to gain performance in execution time is the representation of intervals by their ...

A sufficient condition for the stability of interval matrix polynomials [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1993
The root location of sets of scalar polynomials whose coefficients are confined to intervals and the associated extension to eigenvalues of sets of constant matrices whose coefficients are contained in intervals are reviewed. A central result for complex scalar interval polynomials is a theorem developed by V.L.

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

PERMANENT AND DOMINANT OF MATRIX OVER INTERVAL MIN-PLUS ALGEBRA

open access: yesBarekeng
A min-plus algebra is a set , where is the set of all real numbers equipped with two binary operations, namely minimum and addition . Every square matrix in min-plus algebra can always be calculated as a permanent and dominant matrix.

Consensus of Time-Varying Interval Uncertain Multiagent Systems via Reduced-Order Neighborhood Interval Observer

open access: yesComplexity, 2022
This work focuses on a multiagent system (MAS) with time-varying interval uncertainty in the system matrix, where multiple agents interact through an undirected topology graph and only the bounding matrices on the uncertainty in the system matrix are ...
